The program is as follows:
1. The Kansas City Chess School will train you to run your own chess club! $100 grant per semester to run a school chess club that meets a minimum five times per semester with 15 students. For larger clubs, we will consider awarding two grants for two teachers.
2. The Kansas City Chess School will provide chess sets and boards to participating schools. Chess awards will also be provided per semester.
3. Each club will receive chess curriculum support throughout the year by a Kansas City Chess School certified chess instructor.
